I saved this so I could take appropriate time to enjoy it! And, I did. Hoping your labor of love is as connective as your 140 (or less) characters from an earlier decade when the internet was more personal. I'll read each new entry and consider it a visit from you; someone I only met through a social media feed and a newspaper but always consider a friend, not just an acquaintance. I need this; I now live alone on EmmasFamilyFarm so my friends are my support system. Write bdnrockblogster, I'll read.
Looking forward to a newsletter! I really enjoyed your weekender column highlighting events in the Bangor area. I did find some of your recent writing (restaurants with views) etc etc to be uninspiring but hope that was because of the destination (BDN) and not the source (you).
Emily ~. Glad you’re back (although I guess you never really left). As a native Bangorian, I welcome a perspective that is not so Portland/southern Maine centric. I grew up in BGR and most of my family live within a 25 mile radius of the “Queen City.” Looking forward to reading your epistles.
Emily - Were you a member of the BDN’s labor union when you worked there more regularly? Are you a member now, since you say you write for them occasionally still?
It may not seem to be important information to most, but I can assure you it is an important thing to note up front, for transparency’s sake.

That really means so much! Thank you!
As a friend, I support you always. As a reader, I also support you always. Because you, and your writing, are awesome.

Love it! Very excited for you and this!
